Registered Business

Workspace Aldercore Co., Ltd. is the official registered business name operating this studio. We were established in 2019 in Incheon, South Korea, to address a specific gap: operators who keep wallets air-gapped still need reliable, tamper-evident paper records, and generic ledger books rarely match the column structure their ceremonies require.

Origin

The studio began when our founder, a former bank records archivist, assisted a family office that had adopted cold-storage practices but struggled to maintain consistent balance histories across three signers. Existing notebooks forced awkward abbreviations and left no room for witness signatures. We drafted the first custom triplicate ledger and bound it with archival thread.

Word spread through local operator circles. By 2021 we had formalized template commissions, added a small print bindery, and began shipping standard-format libraries alongside bespoke work.

What We Do

We design, print, and bind balance history templates. Our work covers:

  • Column layouts matched to your address formats and asset types
  • Witness and co-signer signature blocks
  • Reconciliation checklists for weekly or monthly ceremonies
  • Carbon-copy triplicates for redundant offline storage
  • Fitting sessions where we observe your ceremony and adjust spacing

We do not provide wallet software, key generation, or online dashboards. Our deliverable is always a physical template or a consultation that results in one.

Team

Yeon-soo Kim — Lead template designer. Former municipal archives technician. Oversees column geometry and binding specifications.

Jun-ho Lee — Print and bindery manager. Handles paper stock selection, perforation, and shipment from our Incheon office.

Sora Min — Client fitting specialist. Conducts on-site and remote ceremony observations to refine template layouts.

Working Approach

Every commission starts with a brief: how many wallets, what assets, how often you reconcile, and whether witnesses participate. We produce a draft layout on standard ledger paper, mail it for a trial ceremony, and revise once based on your notes. Standard library orders skip the fitting step but include a format guide.

We source acid-free paper rated for pencil and archival ink. Bindings use thread rather than adhesive so pages can be replaced without discarding the volume.

Values

Accuracy over speed. A template that fits your ceremony reduces transcription errors during offline signing. Privacy by design — we never request private keys, seed phrases, or wallet addresses with balances. Physical security — templates ship in unmarked packaging unless you request otherwise.

Community

We attend regional cold-storage meetups in Seoul and Busan twice yearly, demonstrating ledger formats and collecting feedback on field conditions. Several of our standard templates originated from suggestions at these gatherings.
